Ruby Keeler

Ruby S. KeelerRuby S. Keeler, 71, of Chesterfield, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Born in Augusta County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Ina Good Stalter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Keeler; a son-in-law, Fr. Mark Leavell and a grandson, Christopher Leavell. Mrs. Keeler was a Charter member of the All Saints Chapel Free Catholic Church, and a retired LPN. She is survived by her sons; T. Paul Keeler II of Raleigh N.C. and Robert H. and Nicole Keeler of Parsons, West Virginia, a daughter, Patricia E. Leavell of Chesterfield; three grandchildren, Thomas III, Nicole and Olivia; one great grandson, Kellan; three sisters; Freda Weaver of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Louise Taylor of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Millie McDorman of Ruckersville, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, Prince George, Virginia 23805 with Fr. Melvin Northern and Deacon Gary Simms officiating.
