Russell Mack Jr.

Sergeant Major (Ret) US. Army Russell Roy Mack, Jr. 72, of Prince George passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the McGuire Veterans Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. He was born July 3, 1943 to the late Russell Roy Mack Sr., and Jane Allison Mack. Mr. Mack was preceded in death by a grandson Rusty Mack. He retired from the United States Army after 29 years of service; he then went to work as an Account Manager for Securitas. Mr. Mack is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Elfie Mack; two sons, Mike Mack and wife, Lori, Andy Mack and wife, Terri; two grandchildren Amber Mack and Chris Ray, and several other loving family members. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday September 14, 2015 in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday September 11, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
