Ruth Gates

Ruth Meriam Stigall Gates, 85 of Burns, TN (formerly of Petersburg, VA) passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at NHC nursing facility in Dickson, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Gates and a son William E. Gates, Jr. Mrs. Gates is survived by son, John Reuter (Sharon) of Burns, TN; daughter, Cathy Nenninger of St Louis, MO; son, Wayne Reuter (Barbara) of Granite City, IL; daughter-in-law Linda (Gates); seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Rodney Jenkins officiating, Internment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Enon, Virginia
