Ruth Ozmore

Ruth Vairo Ozmore, 74, of Chester, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 in John Randolph Hospital, Hopewell. She was a native of Matoaca and the daughter of the late Louis and Hessie Purdie Vairo, and the widow of John C Ozmore, Sr. Mrs. Ozmore was a former employee of the Coburn Optical Company in Colonial Heights. She is survived by a daughter, Theresa M. Tudor and husband, Paul of Prince George; sons, John C. Ozmore, Jr. of Rocky Mount, Va., David A. Ozmore and wife, Sherrie of Prince George, Donnie L. Ozmore and wife, Anita of Chester, Danny R Ozmore and wife, Marie of Chester; brothers, Lawrence Vairo and James Vairo both of Matoaca; a sister, Charlotte Kelenski of Michigan; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 in Southlawn Park, Prince George County with the Rev. Clay Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
