Ruth Sisisky

Ruth Sisisky, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Born in New York, she was the daughter of the late Ethel and Harry Hoffman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lee J. Sisisky, her sister Helen and brother Edward. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Rice; sister, Flora Jacobson; sister-in-law Myra Brent; grandchildren, Devin (Florence), and Sarah (Craig): great-grandson, Alexey; and many nieces and nephews. She was an avid supporter of the arts, and was an accomplished artist herself. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2012, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Cancer Society. 4240 Park Place Ct. Glen Allen, Virginia 23060.
