Samuel E. (Buddy) Alter, 56, of S. Chesterfield, Va., passed on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at his home, surrounded by his wife and family. So much I want to say to you, so much left to do. I would trade 10 years of my life for one more minute to make sure you knew I loved you and what I thought of you. I lost my Dad of 36 years yesterday. The things you showed me, the lessons I learned. If I end up a third the man you are I will be a hell of a man. I love you Buddy. - Son, Lynwood.
