Sandra Seay

Sandra Coberly (Sandy) Seay of Chester, Virginia met her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her husband, on Wednesday, January 8, 2015. Sandy was born on September 8, 1947 in West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Seay Sr.; both parents; ten brothers and sisters. Sandy was a member of the Edgehill Church of Christ. At an early age, Sandy's family relocated to Newport News, Virginia. During her high school years, she met the love of her life; they married and eventually settled and raised a family in Chester. She loved her family, spending time with her grandkids and being at the beach. She was a loving, kindhearted individual. Those who were fortunate enough to know her will miss her and her loving nature. She is survived by her brother, Joseph (Joe) Coberly; two sons, their wives, and four grandchildren, Rick, Stacy, Candace and Corynn of Matoaca and Tim, Beth, Brennen and Carter of Judsonia, Arkansas. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Edgehill Church of Christ, 25609 Grant Avenue, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with Dr. Russ Jurek officiating. Inurnment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at church.
