Sarah Belcher

Sarah Ann Reese Belcher, 81, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late William V. and Susie Hatchell Reese. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Elwood Belcher; a daughter, Rhonda Gayle Belcher; and a brother, Jimmy Reese. Mrs. Belcher was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and a retired Machine Operator with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. She is survived by her sons, Ray Belcher of Nags Head, North Carolina, Donald Belcher (Debbie) of Concord, North Carolina and Keith Belcher (Karen) of Prince George; seven grandchildren, Robbie (Cathy), Aaron, Zachary, Brandon, Amanda & Christopher Belcher, and Valerie Daniels (Patrick); great-grandson, Adam Belcher; sisters, Sue Sharpe and Sadie Cox; niece, Martha Small (Buddy); great-niece, April Kennedy; great-great-niece and nephew, Aleah and Troy Kennedy. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the funeral home.
