Sarah Golden

Sarah Elizabeth Golden, 91, of Chesterfield passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late William and Rosetta Bosher Shell, and the widow of John C. Golden. Mrs. Golden retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. She is survived by her brothers, Herman S. "Bookie" Shell and wife, Margaret of Chesterfield, and Albert H. Shell of Crescent, Georgia; sister, Martha S. Baird and husband, Thomas of Hamersville, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Jack Moody officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
