Sarah Seely

Sarah ‘Dottie" Ford Seely, 81, of Wakefield, passed away Wednesday June 26, 2013, at the Dunlop House in Colonial Heights. She was born December 11, 1931 in Waverly, Virginia to the late Walter H. Ford and Annie Scott Ford, and was preceded in death by her husband's Al. H. Hall Jr., and John L. Seely. Mrs. Seely was a member of Wakefield United Methodist Church and Waverly Congregational Christian Church. She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and son-in law Robbie H. Barnes and Brad of S. Chesterfield, grandson Al Slade of S. Chesterfield, great-granddaughter, Hannah Slade of Colonial Heights, sisters Anne F. Guelich, Page L. Thomas and husband John, Evelyn Lewis, uncle Robb E. Scott and wife Thelma and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday June 28, 2013 in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church 9227 River Rd South Chesterfield, VA 23803, with the Reverend Michelle Edmonds Lindsey officiating. Interment will take place 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Waverly Cemetery Waverly, Virginia.
