Scarlette Muehler

January 25, 1944 — June 2, 2015

Scarlette Clay Muehler, 71, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Leora Lindsey Clay. She attended Matoaca Christian Fellowship Church, and was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant. Mrs. Muehler was a member of the Colonial Heights American Legion Post #284 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Darrel William Muehler; brother, Ralph Clay (Sherry) of Chesterfield; sister, Marjorie Clay DeDanko (J.R.) of Colonial Heights; brother, Jimmy Clay of Colonial Heights; two nieces, Tracy Muehler (Terry Wayne) and Lindsay Clay; a nephew, Ryan Clay (Rebecca); two great-nieces, Alayna and MacKenzie Clay. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Alton Hinson and the Reverend Ryan Atchison officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Animal Shelter, 301 Charles H Dimmock Parkway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Condolences may be registered
