Sharon Langster Bristow

Sharon Langster Bristow, 78, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Born in Virginia on January 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Garland W. Langster, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth Poole Phillips. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Hamilton Bristow; brother, Gary Langster; and sister, Rita Langster. Sharon was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her son, David Wayne Bristow (Cheryl Lynn); grandchildren, Chelsea, Crystal, and Brandon; sister, Lynn Moore; brother, Garland Langster, Jr.; devoted sisters-in-law, Phyllis Lepley and Linda Kump; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S.
