Sharon Kay (Chapman) Daniel passed away at home in Chester, Va. surrounded by loved ones one June 23, 2022. The Huntington, W.Va. native and 1965 graduate of Huntington East High School was 75. She is survived by her husband of 55 years William Daniel, formerly of Barboursville, W.Va., and a daughter, Jennifer K. Baker of Grifton, N.C., five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and brother Moody Chapman III. She was a longtime member of the social sorority Beta Sigma Phi, in chapters in West Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She had served as president of one chapter and held various other offices. She had been the owner of Discount Film Service in Weirton, W.Va., in the 1980s. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Garrido, her parents Moody Chapman, Jr. and Beulah Chapman of Huntington, and sister June Pant of LaGrange, Indiana. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
