Sharon Faye Turner

Sharon Faye Turner, 66, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. Born in Virginia on August 29, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Ernest Wall, Sr. and Shelva Jane Smith Wall. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gerald E. Wall, Jr. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her mother, and loved collecting and growing her house plants. She was a lover of all animals, especially the numerous cats she nurtured throughout her life. She is survived by her daughter, Sonnet Williams; son, Charles Turner; brother, Michael Wall; daughter-in-law, Tayyaba Syed; grandsons, Musa Syed-Turner and Sami Syed-Turner; and cousins, Larry Seay, Carole DeWees, and Sandra Jones. A funeral procession will leave at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2024, from the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights VA 23834, for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road S. Prince George, VA 23805. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
