Shelby Costigan

Shelby Ann Costigan, 55, of Matoaca, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Paul Andrew and Alma Mae Keene Sayers, and a retired Chesterfield County school bus driver. Mrs. Costigan is survived by her husband, Carl W. Costigan; a daughter, Cynthia C. Nelson and husband, Stefan of Ettrick; two sons, Lawrence P. Sayers of Matoaca, and Joseph Costigan and wife, Jessica of Matoaca; six grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Nichols of Mechanicsville. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
