Shelby Spain

Shelby Lee (Butler) Spain, 77, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her residence. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Garland L. and Hazel Rainey Butler. Mrs. Spain was married on August 27, 1955 to Kenneth G. Spain who preceded her in death on September 2, 2011. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, the Circle & Swing Square Dance Club, and the Office Manager for Norris Jones Construction until 1985. Shelby is survived by two sons, Kenneth L. Spain and wife, Brenda C. Spain and Christopher D. Spain and wife, Ann A. Spain; a sister, Brenda Blick; a brother, Donnie Butler; numerous nieces and nephews. No plans for services at this time.
