Shirley Goodman

Shirley Sheffield Goodman, 72, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. She was the daughter of the late Percy Herman and Lila Mitchell Sheffield, and the widow of William Goodman. She is survived by three sisters, Joyce Leimberger of Colonial Heights, Bernice Martin and husband, Richard of Matoaca, and Brenda Brown of Cicero, Indiana; two brothers, Percy E. Sheffield and wife, Maryann of Dinwiddie, and Larry E. Sheffield and wife, Karen of Colonial Heights; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend J.R. DeHart officiating. Interment Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
