Shirley Ann Haydon, 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021. She was born in Beckley, West Virginia on October 6, 1937 to the late William and Pearl Hicks. Mrs. Haydon worked at the Colonial Heights Library. She cherished every moment she spent with her family and enjoyed spending time at her church, Skinquarter Baptist Church, Moseley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Osborne Kenneth Haydon, Sr. She is survived by her children, Rita Jones (Robert) and their son, Kenny Elder (Jennifer), Osborne K. Haydon, Jr. (Susan) and their children, Misty Jarratt, Hunter Haydon, and Ryan Haydon, Victoria Spence (Roy) and their children, Roy Spence, Jr. (Jessica), Ronnie Spence (Tiffany), Robert Spence (Natalie), and Richard Spence, Lucinda Blackburn (Scott) and their children, Scotty Blackburn and Jessica Blackburn, and Melissa Gagnon (Fred) and their children, Jamie Gagnon (Brittany) and David Gagnon (Kelli); sister, Shealvie Lilly of Glen Morgan, West Virginia; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23836 with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.
