Shirley Jacobs

Shirley Davis Jacobs, 64, of Chesterfield died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Zachariah McDonald and Ethel Slaughter Davis. Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her husband, Carl W. Jacobs of Chesterfield; sons, Alan W. Jacobs of Petersburg and Ryan C. Jacobs of Arlington; brothers, James T. Davis of LaCrosse, Benjamin W. Davis of Dinwiddie; sisters, Fannie D. Whitaker of Charleston, South Carolina, Bettie D. Myrick of Pink Hill, North Carolina, Christine D. Perkinson of Petersburg, Hazel E. Davis of Chesterfield, and Arlene D. Storey of Dinwiddie. A special thanks to: Brenda Carmichael and Dee Taylor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday May 10, 2008 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. James Davis officiating.
