Shirley Klugh

Shirley Jordan Klugh, 79, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Born in Springfield, OH, she was the daughter of the late Stanley E. and Anna Josephine Mosier Jordan; and was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert M. Hurd, Jr. Mrs. Klugh was the 2nd of 9 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Jordan and had worked as the officer manager at That Dance Place. She is survived by her two daughters, Debra Gonzales and husband, William and Mary Jo Lane and husband, Mark; daughter-in-law, Melanie Hurd; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834, with the Rev. Shawn Franco, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home until 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058.
