Shirley Shepperson

Shirley Schneider Shepperson, 61, of Richmond, formerly of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Paul J. and Ann M. Vetter Schneider. Shirley is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Shepperson III; brothers, James A. Schneider and wife Linda and Paul M. Schneider and wife, Anita; nieces, Sonya Jacobs and Bridget Schneider; three great nephews and one great niece. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery, 535 South Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
