Socorro Aguirre

Socorro Marie Aguirre, of Colonial Heights, died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Manuel Gonzales and Petra Martinez. Mrs. Aguirre is survived by her husband, George Aguirre; four sons. James Richard Aguirre and wife Kaye of Newport News, Edward George Aguirre and wife Colleen of Raleigh N.C., John Thomas Aguirre and wife Rita of Poquoson, Patrick Joseph Aguirre and wife Debra of Midlothian; two daughters, Victoria A. Conner and husband Robert of Colonial Heights, Marianne A. Watson and husband Michael of Omaha, Neb; two sisters, Espy and Payo Vasquez of St. Paul, Minn; three grandsons, Matthew Aguirre and wife Trish of Manassas, Steven and Christopher Watson of Omaha Neb., six granddaughters, Cameron Conner of Newport News, Karen Dunbar and husband Mike of Disputanta, Valerie M. Aguirre and husband Cal, Macy Aguirre all of Raleigh, N.C., Monica and Emily Aguirre both of Midlothian, one great grandson, Jonas Dunbar of Disputanta, one great granddaughter, Mackenzie Aguirre of Manassas; and loving cat ‘Socks'. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. A funeral mass will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at St. Anne Catholic Church 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights Va. 23834, with Father Lou Rouff as celebrant. A funeral procession will leave the church Thursday 10:00 a.m. for interment in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
