Stella Hovermale

Stella A. Hovermale, 91, of Chesterfield, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Chippenham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Theodore H. and Virginia Kerns Coulter, and the widow of James Ray Hovermale. Mrs. Hovermale was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Colonial Heights for over 40 years. She is survived by her three children, Sharon H. Shepard and husband Kenneth of Hardyville, Warren D. Hovermale and wife Janet of Chesterfield, and Joyce L. Taylor and husband Baker of Richmond; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130, Glen Allen, Virginia, 23060. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
