Steve Hetrick

Steven L. (Steve) Hetrick, 52, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was the beloved son of the late Ralph Ernest and Gladys Irene Peterson Hetrick, and was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Linda Taylor, Robert Hetrick, Ralph Hetrick, and Randy Hetrick; and a step-daughter, Jessie Marie Milliner. Mr. Hetrick was a United States Navy veteran, and was employed by Bernard Huff in Richmond. Beloved husband of 22 years to Dawn M. Hetrick; beloved father of Richard Steven Hetrick; beloved brother of David Hetrick (Charlene), Sharon Mockler (Claude), Gary Hetrick (Wanda), and Sally Honhart (Ron). He is also survived by a brother-in-law, John Taylor, and is loved by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; many friends and coworkers. Steve's greatest pleasure was family, hunting with his buddies, his son, and his dogs, Rusty and Taz, and his extended family friends. He was very loved and will be greatly missed. Always in our hearts and memories. Steve we will always love you. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will be private.
