Stuart Roberson

Stuart D. Roberson, 48, of Dinwiddie, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Stanley and Shirley Henshaw Roberson. Stuart is survived by his wife, Barbara D. Roberson; children, Julia Holloman and husband, Tyrone, of Petersburg, Joshua W. Groves and wife, Chevonne of Petersburg, David Butler of Georgia, Aaron D. Groves of Petersburg, Brandon M. Roberson of Oklahoma, Jeremy Johnson of Washington; three granddaughters "his hearts", Abigail, Savanna, Ayrianna; brothers, Stanley J. Roberson and wife, Tina of Newport News, Sameul P. Roberson and wife, Stacey of Texas; and best friend Jesse Yeattes of Disputanta. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2011 in the Rock Church, 2301 County Drive, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with Reverend Sonja Davis officiating. Interment private. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
