Sybil Vance

Sybil Lanier Vance, 82, a longtime resident of Colonial Heights, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sybil Wood Lanier. She was a member of the Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church and was retired from C&P Telephone with over 32 years of service. Mrs. Vance is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James R. Vance. A graveside funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg with Pastor Bob Lamb officiating.
