Tashia June Forehand, age 33, of Colonial Heights, VA died peacefully December 4, 2015 at MCV Hospital after a long struggle with Severe Aplastic Anemia. She was medically retired from the Air Force and was employed at Medallion Pools prior to her illness. Ms. Forehand was born January 28, 1982 in Camp Hill, PA. She was the daughter of Darrell Butler and Helena Miller and the daughter of adoptive parents Lee and Ok-Hwa Farmer. Prior to living in Colonial Heights, Ms. Forehand lived in various places in and outside the country to include New Cumberland, PA, Coraopolis, PA, El Paso TX, Fort Lee, VA Italy, and England. She leaves behind two daughters, Teresa and Adrienne Forehand at home. She is survived by sisters Terrie Henry and Kathy Butler, and brothers Dale, Earl, and Sung Ho Butler and her companion an best friend Troy Ingraham. Tashia was a free spirit and loved life. She was very competitive in whatever she participated in and lettered in both Field Hockey and Wrestling in High School. She was particularly fond of her time serving with the Security Forces in the U.S. Air Force. Ms. Forehand graduated from Colonial Heights High School in 2000 and attended Saint Leo University. Visitation will be at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights on December 9, 2015 from 7 and 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Massey Cancer Center at VCU/MCV, P.O.
