Teresa Tuck

Teresa Dance Tuck, 37, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at MCV Hospital. She worked for the City of Richmond as an Adoption Social Worker. Mrs. Tuck was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Melvin David "Sam" Tuck; two daughters, Reese Ellen Tuck and Ellie Jeanne Tuck both of Colonial Heights; her mother, Jeanne Davis and stepfather, Jimmie Davis of Colonial Heights; her father, Joseph Dance of Petersburg; a half-sister, Dawn Edwards; a half-brother, Joseph Dance; and a host of family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights with the Reverend Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. Interment Chesterfield Baptist Church Cemetery, 16520 Hull Street Road Moseley, Virginia 23120. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Colonial Heights Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Baptist Church.
