Terrie Gilmore

Terrie Lynn Bailey Gilmore, 57, of Prince George, departed this world Saturday, November 23, 2013 in her father's home, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Duffie Norris, a sister, Lori Michelle Bailey and her grandparents, Richard C. and Alice Bailey. Terrie was a lifelong resident of the tri-city area. She loved to travel abroad but loved her great country. Most of all, she loved her family and was willing to help anyone in need. She is survived by her son, Clifton Perkinson (Chip) and wife, Carrie; grandchildren, Crystal, Harley, Brandon and Damion; her parents, Richard Bailey and wife, Sissy; two sisters, Julie Stamper and husband Bob, and Shelley Martin and husband, Darrel; brothers, Clay Bailey and wife, Melanie and Kenneth Droddy and wife, Diane. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
