Thelma Bishop Prichystal, 94, of Colonial Heights, died September 23, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late John Benjamin and Maggie Lewis Bishop. Thelma was the widow of Joseph Richard Prichystal and was preceded in death by two sisters, Maude Ozmore and Eva Caldwell; six brothers, John Edgar, Emory B., Robert L., Cleveland A., Floyd C., and Henry C. Bishop. She is survived by two special nieces, Peggy E. Bishop and Anne B. Henderson and husband, Trent; two special friends, Arvetta and Don Kroener and numerous other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 10: 30 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at First Assembly of God Church Petersburg, 25213 Ferndale Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Dwayne Walker officiating. Interment Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. A time to renew friendships and share memories will be Friday, September 25, 2009 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. Thanks to the Activity staff, nurses and other residents at Colonial Heights Health Care Center for there love and care for Thelma in her last years.
