Thelma Tench

Thelma Goodrich "Bumble" Tench, 84, of Petersburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2011. Born in Petersburg, "Bumble" was the daughter of the late James and Kathleen Anthony Goodrich, and was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Tench, four sisters, and two brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn T. Harrison and husband, Ronnie of Lake Gaston, North Carolina, and Sharon T. Jennings and husband, Charlie of Charlotte, North Carolina; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her devoted sister-in-law, Virginia Goodrich, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with the Reverend Dr. Louis Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions maybe made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060 or the American Heart Association, P.O.
