Thelma Tiedeken

Thelma Keller Davis Tiedeken, 91, of Colonial Heights, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born October 5, 1925, to the late Phillip and Cecelia Mauer Keller, and was preceded in death by a son, Everett Lee Davis, Jr. Mrs. Tiedeken retired after many years of service from the City of Colonial Heights Public Library. She is survived by a son, Michael L. Davis and spouse, Denise Davis of Colonial Heights; daughter-in-law, Regina Davis; grandson, Everett L. Davis IV. of Myrtle Beach; granddaughter, Brittany M. Davis of Colonial Heights; three great-grandchildren, three brothers, and one sister. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Peggy Taylor, Amy May, Cathi Pastore, Gloria Allen, Lamese Essey, and Joyce Learnard. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd., South Prince George, Virginia 23805, with the Reverend Linwood E. Daniel officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, June 16, 2017, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Public Library, 1000 Yacht Basin Drive, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 or to Highland United Methodist Church, 125 E Westover Ave, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
