Theresa Jean Matheny

Theresa Jean Matheny, 59 years of age. Born in Montgomery Pa on June 23, 1965, died on Friday November 1st, 2024.

Theresa was an incredibly strong woman who was loved by many. Theresa was a very talented crafter and would spend many hours making things for her family and friends. For her occupation, Theresa was a care giver to children both in her own in-home business for 20 years and most recently with Primrose School in Chester Va. 

Theresa aka "TT" was a devoted Wife and Mother, Sister and Grandmother. Proceeded in death by her father; Raymond Staton, mother; Joan Theresa Staton; and son, Steven Richards. She is survived by her husband of 26 years; Eric Kevin Matheny; brother, Russel Staton; brother, Richard Staton; sister, Patricia Collins; son, Brandon Connor Matheny; stepdaughter, Ericha Renee Pratt; stepson, Craig Matheny; and many grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family Friday evening on 11/8/2024 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home in Colonial Heights, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
