Theresa Marie Williams

Theresa Marie Linder Williams, 72, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 13, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 4, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John H. Linder and Elizabeth D. Linder (LaCivita). She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lori Linder and Betty Linder; and her stepdaughter, Starla Williams. 

Terry waitressed for over 40 years at various restaurants, including her family's restaurant, “Triangle Diner”. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, going shopping, playing double dutch, playing games with family and friends, and listening to Elvis and country music. She also enjoyed cooking and decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. During Christmas time, she loved to bake cookies and pizzelle. She also loved singing karaoke and traveling with her husband, Jim, to visit family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, James “Jim” K. Williams, Sr.; children, Dawn Raia (Dom), Donna Tillett (Mike), Liz Lands (Alex), and Carl Flinn (Megan); stepson, Jimmy K. Williams, Jr.; grandchildren, Albert, Tommy (Shannon), Vicki, Dominic (Lauren), Amanda, Carl III (Justine), Austin, and Steven; great-grandchildren, Tommy III, Payton, Nadia, Jay, Sophia, Shyanna, Carl IV, and Joseph; her brother, John Linder; her sister, Mary Elvanian; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Route 1, S. Chesterfield, VA 23834. A luncheon will follow immediately after the service at the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
