Thomas Talmadge Allen Jr., 73, of Colonial Heights, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He was the son of the late Thomas Talmadge and Annie Seal Allen, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Graham Allen; a son, Thomas Talmadge Allen III of Mechanicsville; two daughters, Melissa Allen Gray and husband, Stephen of Mechanicsville and Joyce Allen Burton and husband, Ron of Norlina, North Carolina;. two step-children, Timothy E. Francis Sr. of Dinwiddie, and Sherry Francis Dutton and husband, Paul of Colonial Heights; a brother, Timothy R. Allen Sr. of Danville; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Oaklawn Baptist Church, 7925 Hickory Road, South Chesterfield, Virginia. 23803 with Robert Taylor officiating. Interment 1:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. The family will receive friends at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard on Thursday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
