Thomas Daly Sr.

Thomas "Tut" Daly, Sr., 78, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his residence. Born in Prince George, VA he was the son of the late Herbert M. and Clarice Belcher Daly; and was also preceded in death by four brothers; and four sisters. Mr. Daly was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights and retired from Coburn Optical in Colonial Heights as a mechanical technician after many years of service. Tut was an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary A. Daly; children, Kaye Ostein and husband, William, Faye Smith and husband, Randy, Thomas E. Daly, Jr. and wife, Crystal and Kathy D. Vinsh and husband, Steve; six grandchildren, Thomas, Amber, Adam, Cody, Kyle and Kelsey; extended family, Juan Torres and wife, Elda and their children, Carla, Norma, Angie and Allyson; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA with the Rev. David Prather, officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
