Thomas Gunn Sr.

Thomas Beryl Gunn Sr., 96, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at Southside Medical Center in Petersburg.  He was born June 18, 1925 to the late Joseph Sydney and Josie Freeman Gunn and was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Gibbs Gunn; and two brothers, Joseph A. Gunn and James W. Gunn.  Mr. Gunn retired from Reynolds Metals as a Machine Operator after 33 years of service.  He is survived by son, Thomas Beryl Gunn, Jr. and his wife, Ginny; daughter, Susan Gunn Nauseef and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Amanda Gunn, Joanne Catlett and her husband, John, Kelly Allin, and Amanda Ceppi; great-grandchildren, Makayla Trader, Lori Henshaw and her husband, Otis, Mackenzie Allin, and Buddy Allin; great-great-grandchildren, Shyanne, Riverlyn, Jacob, and Steele; a sister, Dorothy G. Daniel, and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Larry House officiating.  Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
