Thomas Schoenfelder

Thomas Dean Schoenfelder Thomas Dean Schoenfelder, 51, of Prince George, VA passed away on January 18, 2016. Born in Parkston, South Dakota, he was the son of the late, Lloyd Albert Schoenfelder. Mr. Schoenfelder was a United States Army Veteran having served with the 57th Transportation Unit. He retired from YRC Worldwide in Richmond, VA as a truck driver after many years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Teamsters Union Local #83 and was also a member of the NRA. He was an avid fisherman, sportsman and enjoyed skeet and target shooting. Thomas loved to go camping, riding four wheelers, cutting wood and grilling. On August 10, 2015, he renewed his wedding vows with his wife on their 30th anniversary. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary Elizabeth Schoenfelder; three children, Kristine Elizabeth Schoenfelder LeSueur and husband, Jonathan, Kelly Marie Schoenfelder and Matthew Ryan Schoenfelder; his mother, Mary Jane "Janie" Schoenfelder; three brothers, Douglas, Daniel and Timothy Schoenfelder; one sister, Meribeth Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9300 Community Lane, Petersburg, VA 23805, with Fr. Jim Arsenault as celebrant. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The family is being served by E.
