Thomas Vohun Jr.

Thomas Albert Vohun, Jr., 64, of Disputanta passed away on December 1, 2015 at his residence. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas Albert Vohun Sr. and Concetta Chiarello Vohun; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Joanne Menster Vohun. Mr. Vohun retired as a mechanic from the DLA at DSCR after 26 years of service. He was a United States Army Veteran, an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed going to Lake Gaston. He is survived by his children, Peggy J. Powroznick and husband, Brian, Thomas A. Vohun, III and wife, Bobbie Jo, Christina M. Vohun and Angela K. Vohun; five grandchildren, Skye and Jaylan Powroznick, Cameron, Kensley and Troy Vohun; two sisters, Gwendolyn Fender and Diane Wilcox and husband, Jim. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the funeral home.
