Tillie Corbett

Tillie Aaron Corbett, 102, of Colonial Heights, died Sunday, March 7, 2010. Mrs. Corbett was the daughter of the late Louis and Sarah Walpert Aaron, and was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Corbett, and a son, James L. Corbett. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross for over thirty years. Mrs. Corbett is survived by her daughter, Ann Sovocool and husband, Jeremiah of Colonial Heights; three granddaughters, Melody A. Sovocool of Colonial Heights, Linda Watkins of California, and Amy Payne of Virginia Beach; three great-grandchildren, Emilie F. Sovocool, Taylor and Dylan Payne; a sister, Esther Spreckelsen of Mechanicsville. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with the Reverend Keith Ritchie officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
