Timothy Rogers

Timothy Ray Rogers, 62, of S. Chesterfield, VA passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Born in Martinsville, VA he was the son of the late Shirley Ray Rogers. Tim was retired from the Department of Defense after 30 plus years of service and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He is survived by his mother, Doris Garcia; one sister, Rebecca Reese and fiancé, Paul Edwards; a brother, Tommy Rogers and fiancée, Teresa Hart; one niece, Christina Moneymaker and husband, Clint; one great-nephew; and two great-nieces. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA with the Rev. Ray Haskett, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the funeral home.
