Tina Turner

Tina Taylor Turner of Prince George, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Retreat Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Taylor; a son, Timothy Lee Turner; and two brothers, Marshall L. Taylor and Bethel N. Taylor. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Charles Earl Turner Jr.; her mother, Grace White Taylor; two sons, Shawn Earl Turner and wife, Tara and Keith Lane Turner; daughter-in-law, Heidi Turner; grandchildren, Ethan, James, Jeremy, Nathaniel, and Matthew Turner; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A very special "thanks" to Retreat Hospice Unit for all of their help and support. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Chaplain Elaine Miles officiating. Private interment. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
