Velma Osborne

Osborne, Velma Miles, 80, of Richmond, a retired employee of Southside Regional Medical Center, and widow of Dewey A. "Red" Osborne, died peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2009. She is survived by her son, Stan V. Barnett; daughter, Patricia Osborne Mohr; grandchildren, Jason Cottrell, Windsor Webber, Beth Ellis, Michael Ellingsworth, Sarah Lail, and Claudia Lail; and great-grandsons, Jet, Ethan and Hunter. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 2 from 3-5pm at Grace Baptist Church, 4200 Dover Road, Richmond. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 3 at 11am at Colonial Christian Church, 295 Dunlop Farms Blvd., Colonial Heights, preceded by a viewing at 10am. Interment to follow service at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Robert Winston at Imperial Plaza, Richmond on Wednesday, August 12 at 2pm.
