Veronica Ballard

Veronica L. Ballard, 72, of Prince George, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Solomen and Beulah Persinger Swain. Mrs. Ballard was a member of Grace Baptist Church, North Dinwiddie. She is survived by her husband, John M. Ballard; daughters Teresa P. Morris and her late husband, Phillip of Prince George, Angela L. Cuttic and husband, Brian of Georgia, and a son, Teddy Ray Payne Jr. and wife, Peggy of Prince George; eight grandchildren, Mica Ferlis, Megan Morris, Joshua Morris, Drew Cuttic, Trey Payne, Christopher Payne, Rachel Cuttic and Sarah Cuttic; three great grandchildren, Tommy Morris, Cole Ferlis and Cody Ferlis; brother Ernie Swain and a sister Betty Jean Oyler. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park 2901 West Hundred Rd Chester 23831, with Pastor Raleigh Nunnally officiating. The family will receive friends at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory 2033 Boulevard from 1 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, prior to the graveside service.
