Virgie Taylor

Virgie Jackson "Bea" Taylor, 90, of Hopewell, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Sanford and Lana Wellington Jackson. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Taylor, a daughter, Lana Jeannette "Nanci" Dirienzo, three brothers, and three sisters. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor is survived by a daughter, Faye Woodfin of Macon, Georgia; two sons, Thomas Glen Taylor of Chesterfield, and Donald Taylor of Hopewell; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gladys Thomas of Charleston, South Carolina. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with Pastor Raleigh Nunnally officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
