Virginia Farmer

Virginia Pauline Farmer, 80, of Chester, formerly of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late George and Malissa Lucas Lambert and the widow of Nathen C. Farmer. Mrs. Farmer was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Colonial Heights and the WVFW. She is survived by her children, George N. Farmer, Michael L. Farmer and wife, Joanne W., Sherri F. Clarke and husband, Preston H; grandchildren, Christopher A. Farmer, Megan M. Mowyer and husband, Clyde, Kimberly D. Farmer, Jonathan S. Clarke and wife, Samantha, Adam L. Clarke, Peyton L. Farmer, and Emma Jo Farmer; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Hubert J. Lambert of Tennessee. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Mark Houser officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S.
