Virginia Miller (Tina) Neely, 87 years old, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Fire Chief William T. Miller Sr. and Carrie Cabaniss Miller, and was the youngest of 6 children, affectionately called Tina. She was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Neely. Virginia was born and raised in Petersburg (Blandford), Virginia and moved to Colonial Heights in 1956. She had been a member since the 60's of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She retired from Fort Lee after 35 years of service. Virginia was preceded in death by three brothers, William T. (Willie) Miller Jr., Edwin E. (Earl) Miller, and Herbert B. (Neepie) Miller; two sisters, Edna M. Harvey and Delma M. Wawner. She is survived by a daughter, Christine Neely Robinette and son-in-law, Stephen Robinette of Williamsburg, Virginia; two grandsons, Al B. Williams of Colonial Heights and Todd L. Williams of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
