Vivian Ozmore

Vivian "Jane" Melton Ozmore, 70, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Tyler's Retreat in Chester. Originally from Highland Springs, she spent her adult life in Chester. She was the daughter of the late Stuart E. Melton Sr. and Ermine Melton Bailey, and was preceded in death by her former spouse, Wayne J. Ozmore ; and three sisters, Betty Anne Melton, Shirley Moses and Katherine " Kit" Melton. Jane was a Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Colonial Realty for 18 years, retiring in 2017, and formerly worked as a Secretary with Dawson Electric in Hopewell for 25 years. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn M. Ozmore (Brad); her son, Wayne J. Ozmore Jr. (Kim); six grandchildren, Brittany, Corey, Christian, Olivia, Aaron and Lindsay; two great-grandchildren, Natalie and Kendall; two brothers, Stuart Melton (Nancy) and Kenny Melton (Lucy); a sister, Frances Tarcen; numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Hopewell Moose Family Center, 4701 Western Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860.
