Walter Anderson

Walter G. (Jerry) Anderson, 65, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Walter B. Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Jean M. Anderson; two daughters, Tina Seligman and husband, Jason of Colonial Heights, and Melissa Dinkins and husband, David of Thomasville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Hunter Seligman of Colonial Heights, Jacob and McKenzie Dinkins of Thomasville; his mother, Edith Marion Anderson of Dinwiddie; a sister, Janet Watkins and husband, Lawrence of Dinwiddie; three nieces, Pamela Cunningham, Deborah Elliott and Stephanie Trexler; special friends, Sandra and Sonny Wyatt and Emmett Eggleston. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Services will be private.
