Walter Hershey Jr.

Walter “Butch” Hershey Jr., 63, of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born in Cumberland, Maryland on January 12, 1958 and loved to fish. Mr. Hershey was preceded in death by his father, Walter Thomas Hershey Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Hershey, Summer Inge (Jarid), and Heather Sheffield; mother, Grethel Hershey; grandchildren, Gracie Sheffield, Cassie Sheffield, Andrew Inge, and Natalie Sheffield; siblings, Jimmy Hershey (Melody) and David Hershey (Paige); and dog, Chestnut. A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
